Physical Description
Sage is average size for a half-elf, in both stature and bulk. She stands at 5’5 and weighs 102 pounds. She is slender, and at first appears somewhat delicate, but a closer examination would prove her tightly muscled, and in good shape, mostly from running and climbing. It is this fact that makes it easy for her to pass herself off as a young male. She keeps her straight black hair short enough to aid this as well, but long enough to cover the points of her ears if she wants to portray a human. The bottom portion (from where the tops of her ears meet her face) of her hair is kept closely cropped, while the top is long enough to be pulled into a short ponytail, or left down to appear more feminine. Her eyes are an average blue, and her facial features are unremarkable, but she’s quite attractive when she smiles.
Her typical attire is solid black: tunic, pants, boots, cloak, and sometimes gloves. However, she keeps a few different outfits for ‘work’, and is just likely to dress as a peasant girl, a priest, or a teenage boy, or whatever the situation calls for. She keeps her weapons hidden unless it aids in her disguise.
Personality
Sage is a kleptomaniac. She steals whether she needs something or not – mostly because she can’t help herself, but because she enjoys the thrill of it as well. Mostly, she just picks up things left lying around, preferring to avoid the risk of getting caught whenever possible. But if something truly strikes her fancy, she go to any amount of trouble to get it.
She
has a fairly even temperament, but she’s impatient and prone to sarcasm.
She can be obnoxious as well, in that she says what she thinks, without
regard to anyone’s feelings. She
can also be rude, but she isn’t entirely without good qualities as well.
When she wants to, she can lay on the charm and sweetness.
Having been on her own most of her life, she tends to be a loner, and
hard to get close to at first, but once you’ve gained her trust, she’s a
loyal friend.
Despite
all of this, her true personality is quite difficult to discern, as she takes
her career seriously, and really gets into whatever role she’s trying to pull
off at the time.
Sage
also has a habit of mixing up her words, usually from speaking before she’s
actually finished deciding what she’s going to say.
When misunderstood or corrected, she becomes exasperated, as she usually
doesn’t realize she’s made a mistake in the first place.
